For my undergrad I went to Oklahoma Baptist University for Ministry and Biblical Languages, Southern Nazarene University for Family Studies and Gerontology. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from Mid America Christian University.
Pastoral Care and Counseling
I have over a decade of experience in spiritual and life guidance working with families, marriages, adults, adolescents and children vocationally at local churches, and am a part of several churches counseling ministries in affiliation with local southern Baptist churches.
Inpatient and Clinical Experience
The majority of my time in candidacy, and my internship I have been at St. Anthony Hospital’s behavioral unit in the adult general population acute care and crisis management. I work closely with psychiatrist on the diagnostic and treatment planning process as well as outpatient referrals. My responsibilities include crisis management, individual and group therapy, and outpatient referral/follow up.
I have over a decade of experience working with families, marriages, adults, adolescents and children as a licensed, ordained minister.
I was the clinical director for Meier Clinics in Oklahoma and did out-patient psychotherapy with adolescents, couples, and adults. I also have published articles for the Meier Clinics on the topic of child and adolescent care.
Fitness Trainer Experience
I am a certified personal trainer and have 4 years personal training experience. I have spent a great deal of time applying principals of psychotherapy and exercise. It accommodates therapy often time simplifies conversation and has many physical psychological benefits.
